Meet Our Independent Support Coordinator Series: Natasha

Empowering Choice: How Natasha Supports Participants in the NDIS Sector

At Kinder Caring, we believe that every person deserves the freedom to make choices that shape their own life. Our Independent Support Coordinators are at the heart of this mission — guiding participants through the NDIS with empathy, expertise, and empowerment. In this series, we’re shining a light on the people behind the support — the Support Coordinators who make a difference every day.

Today, we’re proud to introduce Natasha, a dedicated Support Coordinator based in the Gold Coast in Queensland, whose compassion, creativity, and commitment help participants turn their goals into reality.

With more than 15 years of experience across disability services, child protection, community development, and project management, Natasha brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to her role as a Support Coordinator. She has held positions as a Specialist Support Coordinator, Support Coordinator, and Support Coordination Team Leader, giving her a deep understanding of the NDIS from every angle.

Dedicated to helping participants navigate the often complex world of disability support with clarity, confidence, and care, Natasha believes support coordination is more than connecting services — it’s about restoring dignity, fostering independence, and empowering people to live life on their own terms.

A Philosophy Rooted in Understanding
At the heart of Natasha’s work is a deep belief that every participant is unique, with goals, dreams, and strengths that deserve to be seen and honored. Rather than focusing solely on plans and paperwork, Natasha prioritises listening closely to understand each participant’s story. This empathetic approach allows them to tailor support in a way that aligns with the individual’s needs, aspirations, and lifestyle.

Practical Support with a Personal Touch
Natasha combines practical problem-solving with genuine human connection. She works alongside participants to simplify complex NDIS plans, ensuring that funding and services are accessible and meaningful. From helping a participant regain independence at home to coordinating care that supports educational or recreational goals, Natasha brings a steady, reassuring presence throughout the journey.

What Sets Natasha Apart
What truly distinguishes Natasha is a unique blend of creativity, empathy, and strategic thinking. Drawing on experience in learning, coaching, and creative problem-solving, Natasha approaches each situation with curiosity and flexibility. They are known for finding innovative solutions, advocating effectively for participants, and maintaining calm and clarity even in challenging situations. Above all, Natasha’s focus is always on empowering participants to make informed choices and take control of their lives.

Making a Difference Every Day
Through this approach, participants don’t just navigate the system; they gain confidence, independence, and a renewed sense of possibility. Natasha’s work ensures that support coordination is not just about managing services but about enriching lives and enabling participants to pursue what matters most to them.

Connecting and Collaborating
For organisations, families, and participants seeking a Support Coordinator who combines expertise with genuine care, Natasha exemplifies the power of thoughtful, participant-centered support.
